Sarah Falkiner (BTEC) - Quality Assurance Manager
“My role is to ensure Total Quality Management (TQM) is at the heart of ODPM. I develop maintain and monitor a variety of Quality Procedures and Assurance Measures that are designed to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of all our services. This involves working with all our managers and teams to ensure our QA system is functioning properly and constantly promoting it to enable ODPM’s philosophy of TQM and continuous improvement.
Fundamentally my role involves setting objectives to ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation; considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards; setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures; identifying quality-related training needs and collating and analysing performance data and of course the execution of corrective action to enable compliance at all time with ODPM’s client commitment charters.”
Sarah has over 20 years’ experience working for SME and multi-national organisations in Dublin and internationally. She has devised and established processes, systems and legislative compliance across a variety of industry sectors. Sarah joined ODPM in 2001.
