Irish Property and Facility Management Association (IPFMA) - The Irish Property and Facility Management Association (IPFMA) is the professional body representing the fast growing property and facility management profession in the Republic of Ireland, working in the interest of its members and also to the benefit of the public.
Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS) - The SCS is the professional body for chartered surveyors in Ireland.
NPSRA - National Property Services Regulatory Authority - The decision by Government to establish the NPSRA was on foot of a recommendation by the auctioneering/Estate Agency Review Group, established by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to carry out a review of all aspects of the auctioneering profession in Ireland.
National Consumer Agency (NCA) - The National Consumer Agency (NCA) is a statutory body established by the Irish Government in May 2007. It aims to defend consumer interests and to embed a robust consumer culture in Ireland.
Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) - The Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) was founded in 1971 and established to provide an organization for Auctioneers and Valuers to protect, advance and promote the professional standards of Auctioneers and Valuers. IPAV promotes the public interest in the professional competence of its members and protects the interest of its members between themselves, non-members and the general public. Currently IPAV has in excess of 950 practising members.
Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute (IAVI) - Represents over 2,000 qualified auctioneers, estate agents and Valuers and was founded in 1922. There is a degree entry standard for membership and a higher certificate level for associate membership. The IAVI established the first Voluntary Compensation Fund in the property profession in Ireland to provide added protection for deposits paid to members and it insists on its members having Professional Indemnity Insurance in place.
The IAVI has a comprehensive set of Rules of Conduct and Complaints Regulations with independent outside nominees on its Disciplinary Committee and Appeal Boards.
The IAVI insists its members complete an average of 20 hours of life long learning or Continuing Professional Development annually. It is considered the voice of the property profession in Ireland and has been pro-active in encouraging legislation affecting the profession.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) – is the pre-eminent organisation of its kind in the world. As such, it represents everything that is good in the property profession. The members offer the very best advice on a surprisingly diverse range of land, property, construction and related environmental issues. As part of their role, they help to set, maintain and regulate standards. They also provide impartial advice to governments and policy-makers. RICS operates out of 146 countries, supported by an extensive network of regional offices located in every continent around the world.

Health & Safety Authority (HSA) - The HSA is the state sponsored body in Ireland with responsibility for securing safety, health and welfare at work and operate under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. Working in partnership with employers and employees, their responsibility is to ensure that safety and health in the workplace is a key priority for everyone.
